Robert & Sharon Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund

The reason for me starting this fund is due impart to losing both of my loving parents to medical conditions. I lost my mother to renal cancer, and my father to congestive heart failure. I am African American, and the studies have shown that in my community African Americans are number 1 in quite a few diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart failure, among others. I want to do my part to help future healthcare professionals the best that I can. Sharon Lee my loving mother was an extremely caring person, that not only did she love her own children but she loved everyone’s kids the same. She was known as the community mom. Robert Lee my father was a big guy with a big,warm heart. He was big on education and hard work, but also felt that you have the means to give to others then one she do it. Both of them were devout Christians and lived by the commandment of love thy neighbor.
