Retrieving Faith Educational Scholarship Fund

The Goal behind Retrieving Faith Education Scholarship is to support and foster the love, growth, inclusion and support of our special needs community by honoring our daughter Faith, and the Faithfulness of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Our daughter, Faith, went home to heaven shortly after giving birth to her. She was born with a heart defect as a result from being diagnosed with mosaic trisomy 21, a form of down syndrome. As a former teacher, I've worked with students in general education and special education for 19 years. I have been blessed to be surrounded with so many wonderful students filled with joy and love towards each other and the special needs community. I'd like to give back to support students who have a heart for the special needs community. I want to create a scholarship to give $2000 to one student each year who is interested in pursuing a degree in education, special education, occupational therapy, and other fields of education that fostering the care, love, and support for our special needs community.
