In today’s world, LGBTQ+ youth face immense challenges—ranging from discrimination and family rejection to financial instability and limited access to higher education. The Rainbow Futures Scholarship Fund a nonprofit based in Port Chester NY was created to change that. Our mission is simple but urgent: to provide vital financial support to LGBTQ+ students pursuing higher education in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Our scholarships help cover essential expenses such as tuition, books, and living costs, empowering young people who not only demonstrate academic excellence and financial need, but also advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in their communities. Education can be life-changing, yet for many LGBTQ+ youth, it feels out of reach.
