Project Prosperity Fund

I am starting this fund because I believe financial literacy is one of the most important, yet overlooked, skills we can give the next generation. Every day, I see the real-life consequences of financial illiteracy through my work as a Commercial Insurance Advisor, where I support small business owners and individuals navigating complex financial decisions. Too often, people are expected to manage credit, debt, and long-term planning without ever being taught how. Through my platform, Project Prosperity, I have made it my mission to change that. I work directly with students and young adults to provide practical financial education, helping them build confidence and make informed decisions before costly mistakes are made. This fund is an extension of that mission. My goal is to create the Project Prosperity Scholarship, which will support students who are passionate about improving financial education in their own communities. In its first year, the scholarship will award $500 to one student, with the intention of growing both the award amount and the number of recipients each year. In addition to financial support, this scholarship is designed to create a ripple effect. Applicants will be encouraged to share their own financial literacy knowledge through a “Financial Tip Friday” style video, helping spread accessible, real-world financial advice to a wider audience. My long-term vision is to grow this fund into a larger initiative that not only provides scholarships, but also builds a community of young leaders committed to expanding financial literacy across the country.
