Our goal
I came to the United States from Pakistan as an undergraduate student with ambition and limited financial certainty. Throughout my education, I relied on loans and raised funds multiple times to continue my studies. During that period, my family’s financial situation took an unexpected downturn, which made the journey even more challenging.
Those years demanded resilience, discipline, and faith. They shaped how I approach opportunity and responsibility. By the grace of Allah, I was able to overcome those difficulties and build a stable career.
But this fund is not about my story alone.
There are many Pakistani students who arrive in the United States with extraordinary potential yet face significant financial barriers. The cost of tuition, living expenses, and the responsibility of supporting family back home can weigh heavily on their academic focus and long-term opportunities.
The Pakistani Global Scholars Award was created to help ease that burden.
The goal of this fund is to provide financial support to ambitious Pakistani students pursuing higher education in the United States so they can focus on excellence, leadership, and long-term impact — rather than survival.
This initiative begins with a multi-recipient award and personal annual contributions, but the long-term vision is much larger. Over time, the goal is to expand the number of scholars supported each year, build a strong alumni network, and ultimately grow the fund into a sustainable, large-scale scholarship that supports generations of students.
Education changes individual lives. Sustained opportunity changes communities. This fund is an investment in both.
