Otto Bear Memorial Scholarship Fund

The STEM field has never been more vital to the world as scientific innovations and technological advancements drive society more and more. While significant advancements have been made through the various STEM sectors, their full potential hasn’t been unlocked due to a lack of gender diversity that limits the perspectives and unique skills brought to the table. Continuing to grow and improve the STEM industry requires empowering women with STEM-aligned interests as they pursue their education. This scholarship seeks to pay forward the love, kindness, and joy that Otto brought to the world by supporting young women pursuing STEM. Any female high school senior in Oregon or Washington who is pursuing STEM with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
