One Room School House Scholarship Fund

This fund was created in our mother's name, Donel Lou Beckford, to support African American Females who are pursuing a four-year nursing degree at an accredited college. Our mother was a life-long learner, who although did not attend college, fostered the love of reading and education to her children, grandchildren, and her siblings. She cared for elderly individuals as a private duty aide and in a nursing facility up until retirement. Her nurturing nature is remembered by all that had contact with her.
