Our story
My mother volunteered for years at the school before she began working at the school. As kids she would also take us to the library all the time before she began working there as well . She loved to read and loved books. She also loved the ocean and taking walks at her favorite park: Sunset Lake.
Our goal
We hope to raise funds for a memorial scholarship to honor my mother who passed away 5/30/2025. My mother passed away after a short battle with uterine cancer. She was a very big part of her grandkids lives and was always very proud of all their accomplishments. She missed her oldest college graduation because she fell ill, and passed away a couple of weeks later on her oldest granddaughters birthday and during the graduation ceremony of another one of her granddaughters. We would like to start a small scholarship fund to help college students pay for educational expenses.
