Michael was a talented Chef that created a classic Italian restaurant in the small country town of Dysart, PA about 20 miles north of Altoona, PA. He created a family atmosphere with freshly made Italian meals using locally grown foods whenever possible. Homemade ravioli made by his Mom and a close family friend were one of the most popular items on the menu. He cooked from his heart and his customers became his friends. Michael often offered cooking classes on Tuesdays, when the restaurant was closed and he participated in local charity events.
This scholarship fund will further our loved one's legacy by supporting a student through Culinary School, provide $1000 scholarship each year, and support a students with a financial need.
