Our story

William "Bill" McEntee was a proud veteran, devoted family man, and passionate advocate for education. He believed that education was not only a pathway to career success but also a means of personal growth and community impact. Bill’s philosophy centered on the idea that learning and self-improvement could inspire a ripple effect, creating better families, stronger communities, and a brighter future. Beyond his dedication to education, Bill was a man of many passions. He found peace in fly fishing, joy in cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers, and fulfillment in spending time with loved ones. His life exemplified kindness, perseverance, and a deep commitment to helping others. This scholarship celebrates Bill’s legacy, ensuring his values continue to uplift and inspire future generations.

Our goal

The William "Bill" McEntee Scholarship Fund honors the remarkable life of a man who believed in the transformative power of education. This fund supports Warren County High School students in Warren County, Tennessee, who embody Bill’s values of lifelong learning, family devotion, and community service. By removing financial barriers, this scholarship empowers students to pursue their educational aspirations, achieve personal excellence, and contribute to their communities. Inspired by Bill’s commitment to making the world a better place, we aim to foster opportunities for students to lead, grow, and create lasting change. Through this scholarship, we hope to continue Bill’s legacy, ensuring his passion for education and his dedication to family and community live on in the lives of those who receive this support. Together, we can build a future that reflects the values Bill held dear.
