Our story

Max Bungard made anyone who was around him laugh and smile. He was a loving human being that spread joy. His playful personality made him enjoyable to be around.

Our goal

We are looking to fund the Max Bungard Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to reach out to students who battle with drug addiction. This scholarship serves as an award, recognition, and encouragement to those battling addiction. We would like to encourage students to continue their battles against addiction, and for those who have defeated it to maintain sobriety.

As Staff Director, I remember standing in front of Chad's desk to welcome back to our office Max's newly proud and beaming daddy. Who could have imagined such a wonderful moment would be eclipsed by despicable people who would steal Max's life. Our prayer is they and their ilk will be held fully responsible for their heinous acts. And yet, now we have a moment to thank Max for helping other young people in their life journeys. It is our pleasure to make this contribution in his name.
