Our story

Matthew S. Greene was a husband, father, and coach. He was a pillar of his community. He loved sports and more than that, he loved the athletes he got to coach. Day in and day out he poured himself into their lives. He faithfully continued his coaching even throughout his over six-year battle with cancer modeling for his players how to not give up, how to stay strong in their Faith, and how to suffer well.

Our goal

Matthew S. Greene died after a 6 year battle with cancer. He was a father, husband, and coach. This fund will be used to create a Student Athlete Scholarship for graduating high school seniors to help them with their higher education goals. The recipients will be a male and female that represent Matt's love of sports, community service, high character, and Christian faith.

Matt was always an integral part of our worship team and his family were huge supporters of our youth. I was blessed to know and serve with Matt.
