Mary Ione Carter Legacy Fund

My grandmother, Mary Ione Carter, was a single mother who raised her 2 children and many others. She worked very hard to ensure that her progeny had opportunities to pursue the higher education that she wanted but was not able to obtain due to accessibility and responsibilities. She loved to show her love through creating delicious meals. There were many family events where we were able to commune around her food. Her food created community, opportunities to give and financial freedom for herself and others.
