Our story

Louella Davis was a loving and giving mother. She believed in helping people, especially children. She was the type of person who never met a stranger; she embraced people and was kind and loving to all. She was diagnosed with lung cancer on her birthday May 4, 2015 and received her wings 20 days later on May 24, 2015. Her family hopes to honor her with this scholarship and carry on her legacy of helping and loving others.

Our goal

The goal is to raise at least $5000 to fund the Louella Davis Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is for any high school student who is a first generation college student.

I was a friend to Louella and like another Mom to her daughters. Louella also helped me every year at Bishop Hartley for our Men’s Night Prime Rib dinner program. She never hesitated to serve wherever was needed. Louella was also a beautiful woman inside and out! She is truly missed.🙏🏽❤️
