Linda "Bangos" Watson Scholarship Fund

Linda "Bangos" Watson was a Los Angeles basketball legend. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Linda was the youngest sibling of 9 children born to Doris & Emmitt Watson. She immediately took to basketball while following after her 2 older brothers that recent local basketball gyms and school yards to participate in pick-up games with local neighborhood kids. Linda's ability to dominate against local neighborhood boys provided her with the skillset to elevate amongst other elite athletes in the sport of basketball. Her achievements in allowed her to travel and play all over the world. This scholarship fund was created in honor of Linda "Bangos" Watson to help provide educational funding to young student-athletes who have exemplified a great presence in their community through service oriented volunteer work.
