Our story

Larry was a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was a licensed builder, master electrician, and professional engineer who was involved in the design and development of countless projects including hospitals, churches, and government buildings throughout the country. He also developed subdivisions and built dozens of houses in greater Lansing. Larry was known for his ability to incorporate humor into all aspects of his life.

Our goal

These funds will go on to support the Larry W. Moore Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Engineerings. This scholarship will provide funding to students from the state of Michigan who are pursuing majors in engineering.

Larry had a profound effect on my life. When I was considering going into Electrical Engineering and wasn’t sure I would be able to pass the more difficult courses at MSU, he convinced me I could be successful, and helped me to do it. More importantly, Larry was a great brother in the Lord and walked with me during in those early days of marriage and family. Raising a glass of Basil Hayden to you Larry! Well done good and faithful servant of God!

I worked with Larry at Granger Construction some years ago. They don't come any better than Larry. So quick to smile and laugh. He lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
