Lamb First Light Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for students whose parents did not attend college. First-generation students often have to figure out college on their own—navigating financial aid, balancing responsibilities, and adjusting to new academic expectations without family experience to guide them. Many also face financial barriers, making it harder to afford books and supplies. This scholarship helps cover some of those costs so they can focus on their education instead of financial stress. Higher education can change lives, but the path is not always easy for first-generation students. Without a parent’s firsthand knowledge of college, they often have to work harder to find the right resources and opportunities. This scholarship recognizes their determination and provides financial support to help them succeed. By investing in first-generation students, we hope to create a ripple effect—helping them build brighter futures for themselves and future generations.
