Mr. Lamar Young was a guidance counselor at Midtown High School. This scholarship is to honor his memory.
Our goal
Sponsor scholarships to Midtown High School students who want to attend college whether 2 year or 4 year.

Mr. Young and I worked together since his first year at Grady HS. He was a man who cared fiercely for his students. He always had a smile, a caring tone, and a way to make everything work out. I'm so lucky to have worked with him. I will miss you, my friend.
