Korean Men and Women Scholarship Fund

This fund wil be used to create a scholarship for Korean-American students in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area who are ready to make a significant impact. Applicants will be high school seniors and undergraduate students in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Students will be asked to submit a "Visual Story" in any medium that showcases theirr identity and commitment to leadership, answering the prompt: "Where tradition takes root, a new future blossoms." The submission will be a compelling visual (a short video, photo series, digital artwork, infographic, or physical art piece) that clearly illustrates three interconnected elements: Your Roots: A visual element representing your Korean heritage and the cultural values or traditions that define you. Your Environment: A visual element representing your life, studies, and community within the DMV area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Your Harvest: A visual element that represents your chosen future career and specifically how you will use your knowledge to educate, mentor, or lead others.
