Kitchen to Campus Scholarship Fund

Growing up, I was a restaurant kid. My family immigrated to the US and eventually opened a Chinese restaurant called Hunan on the Square. At one point, 12 of us shared one house (and one shower, lol). The restaurant supported our family, but I saw the toll it took. My parents worked from morning until after midnight to give me the best shot at success. Unlike many restaurant kids, I wasn't expected to work. I had the luxury of focusing on school, and this scholarship is my way of paying that opportunity forward. The $3,000 can go toward tuition, books, or living expenses. But I hope some of it helps you enjoy college, too. Go to a concert. Join a club. Take a road trip. Try something new. Some of the best parts of college happen outside the classroom.
