Kim Thompson Legacy Scholarship Fund

As a third grade teacher at Weeden Elementary School in Florence, Alabama, Mrs. Kim Thompson’s passion for equitable education was well known. She set the highest expectations for her students, regardless of their background, because she simply believed that they could succeed. Everyone remembers her as smart, passionate, and a beautiful tiny go getter in high heels. She was even more beautiful inside, as she lived her life prioritizing others and it shows in the sheer number of lives that she was able to impact. She truly believed in the importance of education and we want her legacy to stay alive through this scholarship.
