Kelly Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund

We have created this scholarship to benefit Northside ISD graduating seniors. Our goal is to raise at least $4,000 by the annually, so the scholarship can be made available each school year beginning in December and awarded to 8 graduating seniors in May of each school year. Kelly Smith was a fixture of her community and former educator and Assistant Superintendent for Technology Services in Northside ISD in San Antonio. Kelly was an innovator who inspired those around her to think outside the box and get involved. As a teacher, Kelly encouraged engaged learning, helping students maximize their information retention and their overall academic success. She embraced and advanced the use of technology in the classroom by both students and teachers throughout her career. Hardworking, responsive, and forward thinking are some of the attributes that Kelly Smith demonstrated in her work each and every day.
