Our story
On May 24th, 2022 Jackie Cazares was tragically killed at Robb Elementary. Jackie always held a deep passion for animals, and her desire to help them led her to dream of becoming a veterinarian. Jackie found solace and joy in the presence of animals, their innocence and unconditional love captivating her heart. Jackie's dream was fueled by her belief that every animal deserves the same love and care as any other living being. She was a free spirit that was always willing and wanting to help others. Her favorite color was sage green, she loved to sing, make videos on TikTok and interact with her friends on Snapchat. She loved all animals but her 4 dogs were her world. She yearned to become a Veterinarian and dreamed of visiting Paris one day.

We are determined to honor Jackie and keep her dream alive by raising money for veterinary scholarships.

Jackie is part of the Cázares family that I love so much. Jamie & Chon always welcomed me into their home with love and Javi, Janie and Michael were great friends to me. I hate that this tragedy happened to them and I’ll always keep Jackie’s name alive because that’s the very least I can do.
