Our story
I wanted to create this fund because as an athlete and even as someone who attended an HBCU, sometimes they can get undervalued or underrepresented. I have a passion for sports, basketball and serving others, so being able to help a student or a student athlete in their journey through sports is what I aim to do.
Our goal
The purpose of this scholarship is to award at least 1-4 students each year who are interested in attending an HBCU or two year college, who want to study or get into sports (or sports administration/coaching/management/media/broadcasting), or individuals/students who are interested in making a difference in their through sports.
