Our goal
Kathleen (Kate) was a devoted biologist, whose passion for understanding the natural world inspired many within her sphere. Her natural curiosity flowed into her teaching, with experiences at libraries, bookstores, nature centers, museums, zoos, and as the Director of the undergraduate physiology laboratory course. A lifelong learner and advocate for education, she believed in the power of books to expand minds and nurture curiosity.
Reading inspires innovation and opens doors to opportunities that might otherwise remain unseen. This scholarship seeks to honor and support individuals who share a passion for reading and recognize its transformative power. By investing in this scholarship, we affirm our belief in the boundless potential of minds shaped by the written word.
Our goal is to fund a scholarship for a worthy undergraduate biology major at University of Mount Saint Vincent in Kate's honor.
