Judy McCaffrey New Calling Nursing Scholarship Fund

This memorial scholarship was created in honor of Judith Ann “Judy” McCaffrey, whose life was defined by caring for others. Judy had a gift for making people feel loved. She welcomed friends as family, supported those around her wholeheartedly, and gave endlessly of herself while asking for little in return. Before finding her true calling in nursing, Judy worked as a hairdresser and real estate agent. At age 50, she returned to school with the help of a scholarship, graduated from Norwalk Community College on the Dean’s List in 1994, and went on to spend more than two decades caring for others as a nurse and nursing supervisor. Judy’s life is a reminder that it is never too late to discover a new calling, and that one person’s care and encouragement can change countless lives.
