Our story

Jore invested in people and the world around him in various ways throughout his lifetime. In addition to being a son, husband, father, and grandfather, Jore was a Seattle firefighter, cattle farmer, and life coach. It was a hallmark of his life to seek out and maximize both efficiency and care... for others and himself, and his skills in public speaking and service to others were part of what made him a great leader. He was never really interested in the trappings of success or recognition. Fixing a leaky faucet, managing water flow to prevent a muddy field, or improving patient outcomes were of equal value. It was important for him to do what was right. He constantly evaluated and challenged himself to be a better person, and in doing so encouraged those around him to do so as well. Jore was unshakeably Christian, and his resolute adherence to the values of goodness, love, hard work, and personal integrity was based on God's attributes. Jore believed success is connected to action. That successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.

Thank you Amy for creating this legacy in Jore’s memory, truly one of the most patient and decent people I have ever known. A wonderful idea to help lift our next generations.
