Joe Gilroy "Plan Your Work, Work Your Plan" Scholarship Fund

My grandfather, Joe Gilroy, was a business man and a family man. He saw a need that could only be filled by people with a specific skillset and expert knowledge on certain machine parts needed in manufacturing. So, he started his own business, GoFast MCM, to utilize his mastery and control his own future. I vividly remember visiting his shop as a child. His ToDo lists in his shirt pocket, his paperwork, his plans, the smell of the machine shop, the break room, my grandmother working along his side, I can see and smell it all. He would show me the machines, the parts they made, and the designs for those parts. It inspired me to be just as organized and thoughtful about my work and my future. Additionally, as the patriarch of the family, he was a jokester, a fisherman, and a passionate storyteller.
