Jess Putnam Memorial Scholarship Fund

I met Jess while going through chemo myself. I had heard her infectious laughter before I even saw her beautiful smile. We talked and became besties. She was with me through losing our other chemo sister and got me through a lot of tough stuff. Jess turned Cancer into a way of helping people. She never realized the light that she carried and shared with so many. Her goal was to start a movement and to be able to tell her story of how God was with her every step of the way. Together with another friend, we started a cancer support group and helped as many people as possible, before Jess got to a point she could no longer run meetings. From the "Hey girl Hey!" when she walked into the room to the beautiful beaming energy that she exuded, she will forever have changed my life, and I want to honor her by changing the lives of as many children directly effected by this horrible disease as possible.
