Our story
Jehadje was kind, with a big heart and an inspiring chef. He left behind a good name and a legacy of cooking. Jehadje had the honor of cooking at Bon Jovi's restaurant here in the Shore Area (New Jersey), as well as Oceans Place and Monmouth University. He had a smile and a voice you could never forget. He not only left his mark in your heart but also in your belly.
Our goal
In 2019, my son was killed due to gun violence, a senseless crime. He was on his way to work for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in August of that year. Jehadje left behind no children, but he left behind a good name through his love for cooking and food. He touched so many lives and hearts through his skill he had mastered in the kitchen.
I would like to help children who also share the same passion as my son did through a scholarship that I've created in his honor: The Jehadje Mcmillian Scholarship. So, I'm asking for donations to help make some children's dreams come true.
