Jean Ryan Memorial Scholarship Fund

Miss Jean Ryan began her teaching career in 1972 at Garner School in Texas, shaping the minds of fifth graders. She never left Garner and was a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend to many. She educated her students not only in the subject matter of their textbooks, but also in matters of life and understanding other people's differences. Though Jean passed away too soon, her memory lives on in the hearts and minds of those she taught and knew.
