Jazzy Memorial Scholarship Fund

Jasmine encountered the misfortune of becoming legally blind.  However, if you know Jas, she did not allow her visual impairment to inhibit her from doing anything she set her mind to.  She maintained her sense of accomplishment and demonstrated perseverance through her actions.  She later joining the Society for the Blind where she became an active and engaged participant.   Jasmine firmly believed in chasing her dreams. In late 2019, she exhibited yet another talent displaying her entrepreneurial spirit in launching her own business, Oh So Jazzy Beauty Brand. Her love for impeccable lip and body scents inspired her to create her own incomparable line of colors and bold fragrances; however, she did not stop there.  In alignment with Jas’s nurturing personality and genuine care for others, she enrolled in nursing school to pursue a degree in nursing.    Her calm and infectious personality, genuine spirit, compassionate demeanor and consideration for others were noticeably present at a very young age.  Jasmine loved being there for others and without hesitation, showed up whenever she was needed by anyone.  We will continue her legacy.

This scholarship fund will honor the legacy of Jasmine L. Davis, provide $1,000 scholarships each year, and support legally blind, first-generation students from underserved communities seeking degrees.
