Our goal

We are starting this fund to continue support year after year for 'The Jamie Anderson Scholarship' which honors the memory of Jamie Anderson, a compassionate and resilient young individual who tragically lost her life on April 23, 2019, after being tragically hit by a train at the age of 16. Despite facing challenges as a foster care youth, Jamie aspired to become a social worker to make a positive impact on the lives of others with similar experiences. Her infectious smile and determination inspired those around her, leading to the initiation of this scholarship. The Jamie Anderson Scholarship aims to support and encourage young individuals who, like Jamie, have a desire to pursue a college degree despite facing difficult circumstances. We ask that you consider giving to this fund so that the memory of Jamie can live on through the lives and hopes of other young people.
