Our story
James T. Godwin was a storyteller, so good he'd even tell you a story or two more than once. He often talked about how important education and learning were to him. He made sure to emphasize that you should always try your best in school. Everyone should be so lucky to have someone like James T. Godwin in their lives. It is our hope that those applying for this scholarship find encouragement to pursue education and motivation to try their best.
Our goal
In memory of James T. Godwin, United States Air Force (ret). It is our goal to honor him by sharing his encouragement of learning with others. Our scholarship fund is aimed for those with military affiliation in pursuit of education at a university or trade school. Each awardee will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship.
