Our story

Jaden Smith, age 17, passed away in a sudden and tragic accident on March 14, 2026. A resident of Morgan Hill, CA Jaden was an 11th-grade student at Ann Sobrato High School, where he was a proud student-athlete, and member of the varsity basketball team. He was known for his dedication on the court, his leadership, and his strong work ethic as both a student and a teammate. Jaden passionately gave back to the community as a youth basketball coach. Jaden was a natural-born leader, both on and off the court. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and loyal best friend. Those who knew him will remember his pure spirit, kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. He loved being there for others, and always lifted people up with his positive energy and outlook on life. Jaden had a passion for adventure, gaming, and building Legos. But above all, Jaden was known for his love of collecting shoes, and his unique sense of style- a young fashion icon with an immense passion for life.

Our goal

To honor Jaden’s memory, and to further Jaden's legacy of positively impacting others, we would like to raise money to fund scholarships for eligible Morgan Hill students in the 2027 graduating class at Ann Sobrato High School and Live Oak High School. The more money we raise the more positive impact we can have in the Morgan Hill community. All donations are fully tax deductible, and all money raised will go to student scholarships. Thank you for your support!
