Our goal

Jacob Wise was a phenomenal teacher and took great pride in helping students overcome their learning hurdles by catering to their individual learning styles and creating customized lessons for different students. He was often creating 3-4 different lessons on the same topic just to make sure all of his students had a way to grasp it. But he also cared about their lives, and he did what he could to be there for his students that came from troubled homes. Seeing the amount of handwritten cards and handmade gifts flooding in throughout his fight with cancer really made it undeniable how important Mr. Wise was to his students. There's many young students out there with dreams to become the kind of teacher and role model that Jacob was, but without the finances and opportunities to support their goal. In Jacob's honor, I would like to start this scholarship to help some of those students become influential educators.

Lucky to know Mr Wise. My daughter had him in 5th grade and I was lucky enough to be a para in his room for a short time. Loved the conversations, coffee and food talk. Rest easy Mr Wise, you will be missed terribly.

Mr. Wise was my son and daughters' 5th grade teacher at E-NP and an awesome colleague to me as well. He made effort to build relationships and connect with his students individually. He inspired a love of Science in both my children and I will forever be grateful for his contribution to their learning and growth. Rest In Peace, Mr. Wise!
