Our story
Liv was a beloved mother and grandmother who lived a life of generosity and kindness.
Liv was a volunteer who worked odd jobs to save for her family, as an immigrant she devoted her life helping others in the community and to her family. She worked hard and saved responsibly in able to share with her granddaughter and help her through her educational journey.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Liv by supporting students from immigrant backgrounds as they pursue higher education.
Our goal
I uses to say, "When I get rich I will start a scholarship to assist students with their education".
Bold.org made this so easy that I was able to start this before I became rich. The In Memory of Liv Scholarship was established in 2023 with a $500 donation and I accomplished one of my life goals.
I am only capable of sharing what I have. But I know I have a large network of friends and family who are kind and generous. My grandma and mom instilled in me that giving time or money is a rewarding feeling, we just need opportunities to give, guidance on how and where to share.
My goal for the next year is to raise the scholarship awarded to $1,000. Please help in contributing to the education of students who need financial assistance.
