Our story

As an orphan, our mother, Hyacinth Malcolm faced numerous challenges. Through her indomitable spirit and belief in education's power, she transformed her life and her family's. Although unable to pursue higher education herself, she ensured her children received college degrees. She believed education was the great equalizer, capable of transforming lives.

Our goal

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to join us in supporting the establishment of the Hyacinth Malcolm Memorial Scholarship. Our mother, an extraordinary individual, overcame incredible odds. She firmly believed that education was the key to improving lives. In her memory, we established the Hyacinth Malcolm Memorial Scholarship. Its mission is to provide financial assistance to deserving African-American students enrolled in full-time college programs, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. By supporting this scholarship, we continue our mother's legacy of empowering young minds and equipping them for success.
