Higher Hill Wrestling and Biblical Studies for Latinos Fund

Latinx students often face countless barriers when pursuing their education, leading to an underrepresentation of Latinx students in academia. Some first-generation Latinx students must navigate language barriers or immigration hurdles in addition to the financial difficulties that can stand in the way of any student. When college becomes inaccessible, students lose out on a wide variety of career opportunities. This scholarship aims to support underrepresented students as they pursue their dreams of higher education. Any Latinx high school senior high school senior at Lovejoy or McKinney High School in Texas or current undergraduate student who attended McKinney or Lovejoy High School may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are majoring in biblical studies or if they participated in wrestling.
