Our goal
I am starting this fund to support individuals who face prejudice or discrimination due to their background as they pursue careers in cybersecurity. Hackers Against Hate is dedicated to ensuring that all aspiring professionals, regardless of race, gender, religion, or identity, have the opportunity to thrive in a field that should value talent, skill, and determination above all else.
This mission is personal to me because I’ve seen how prejudice can discourage talented individuals from entering or advancing in cybersecurity. By creating this fund, I hope to provide financial assistance to students or early-career professionals who are committed to overcoming these barriers and bringing diversity to a field that desperately needs it.
With this fund, my goal is to award an annual scholarship of at least $1,000 to help remove financial obstacles for these individuals. As the fund grows, I aim to expand the program to support more recipients or increase the award amount, amplifying the impact of Hackers Against Hate.
By contributing to this fund, supporters can directly invest in a more equitable future for cybersecurity, one where all individuals have a fair chance to succeed and make meaningful contributions to the industry.
