GTF Scholarship Fund

Gregory D. Tucker, known as G. Tuck was a kid from inner city Chicago that grew up with one brother and both parents. Greg was a very smart, kind, funny and caring young man. Some would describe his personality as larger than life. He left behind a young beautiful daughter. Greg was a star athlete in high school and college playing basketball, as that was his first love. Greg also was mentor within his community. May his soul rest in eternal peace and his family find the strength to continue this life journey.

The Gregory D. Tucker Foundation was founded after an individual who was an intellectual being and dedicated to giving back to the youth. To honor him, this scholarship is created for those that enjoy reading as he did, while giving an opportunity to advance underrepresented people. The goal is to give away as many scholarships as possible to students attending an HBCU institution.
