Our story
Gina was extraordinarily steadfast in her principles, convictions, and beliefs. Until her dying breath, she refused to do anything that were even minor infractions against what she believed.
Gina was also a single mother, whose son was her pride and joy. Her son was able to attend college debt free due to a full academic scholarship and other scholarships. The two of us would research scholarship opportunities day and night. She would send me emails with dozens and dozens of scholarships.
Our goal
The Gina Gregoris Memorial Scholarship Fund will be created to honor my late mother, Gina, who passed at 59 years old after a long battle with cancer. She was a high school educator with a 28 year tenure.
To honor Gina's memory and her fight against illness, scholarships will focus on serving students who demonstrate extraordinary bravery and conviction in their personal lives as well as academic excellence.
The fund will largely be for friends and family to donate to in lieu of sending flowers for her services. Afterwards, the fund will likely be self funded by her son (me).
