Franky Darrel Mattocks Scholarship Fund

The Franky Darrel Mattocks Scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student who is seeking to obtain a degree in the S.T.E.M. degree program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This scholarship is in the honor of Franky Darrel Mattocks (1996-2020) who passed away suddenly in April 2020 from Covid-19 Virus. During that time, Franky was attending Queensborough Community College and majoring in Internet Information Technology. Franky was very passionate about computers, anime and gaming systems. He was a semester away of completing his degree. Franky was also an amazing person who was devoted son, nephew, brother and friend who did not hesitate to help anyone in need. My purpose is to memorialize him to continue his legacy by giving an opportunity to help others to continue their studies. My goal is to assist students to pursue their educational goals in S.T.E.M. by providing financial assistance to help them through their journey on to higher education.
