A Legacy of Faith, Service, and Education
The Forever90 Scholarship was established in loving memory of Mrs. Marion Makins, the cherished matriarch of our family and a lifelong member of Beulah Baptist Church of Deanwood Heights. Mrs. Makins lived 90 extraordinary years devoted to faith, education, and service. As an educator, mentor, and community leader, she dedicated her life to uplifting others through wisdom, compassion, and action.
The Forever90 Scholarship continues her legacy by supporting students who embody her values—faith in God, commitment to learning, and a heart for service.
To honor Mrs. Makins’ 90-year legacy by empowering the next generation of leaders who strive to make a positive impact in their communities through education and service.
Our goal
The Forever90 Scholarship is a legacy scholarship established in loving memory of Mrs. Marion Makins, the beloved matriarch of our family, who lived a full and impactful life for 90 years. This award honors her enduring commitment to education, community service, and faith—pillars that defined her character and contributions.
Mrs. Makins was a lifelong member of Beulah Baptist Church of Deanwood Heights, where she served faithfully, mentoring generations through her wisdom and compassion. As an educator and community advocate, she dedicated her life to uplifting others and believed deeply in the power of education to change lives.
In the spirit of her life’s mission, the Forever90 Scholarship seeks to support high school seniors or currently enrolled undergraduate students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership in their communities or churches, and a passion for service.
