Our goal
This fund supports scholarships for Flint high school students graduating with at least a 3.0 GPA with a vision and passion for Flint’s future development and innovation. Qualified scholarship applicants will be attending an accredited university pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business management or entrepreneurship.
Our namesake scholarship is an investment in the future of business, marketing, and communications students by supporting the next wave of leaders who will redefine industries and create lasting change - and potentially become a part of Flint’s economical future.
Higher education is more than a degree—it’s a pathway to economic power, career advancement, and generational wealth. Black entrepreneurship continues to rise, shaping industries with bold ideas and fresh perspectives.
This fund exists to ensure that aspiring marketing and business leaders have the support they need to claim their seat at the table—and build new ones.
The Flint Future Innovators fund is led by Zaneta Chuniq Inpower, Carman-Ainsworth HS and Michigan State University graduate. Her commitment to the advancement of Flint includes a history of business and philanthropic endeavors including Hashtag Lunchbag, an awareness initiative highlighting food disparities in the city, serving 5,000 lunches in the area since 2014. She is also the founder of 810 Tacos and Inpower Media Group, a content house dedicated to telling Flint’s most interesting stories.
