I am passionate about serving those who are underserved by their communities. I believe no child or youth should be limited to a certain income or standard of life, solely based on where they live and the income level of the family they come from. As someone who paid their way through college, and often struggled, needing to choose between having food for the day and being able to afford a metro card fare to get to school, I understand the struggle.
