Our story
For Dwayne, music never waited for a stage. It spilled out into the streets, spontaneous and unannounced, drawing crowds who couldn't help but stop and watch. It wasn't a hobby; it was the heartbeat of his existence.
Our goal
The arts hold a unique power, and music above all is a universal language capable of connecting people across every background and barrier. Too often, schools underfund music and arts education in the earliest years, leaving passionate students without the resources to pursue it further.
The Dwayne Cotten "Music is Life" Memorial Scholarship is established with $700 for one winner, and we are raising funds to award multiple scholarship winners with your support.
