We are starting this scholarship to honor the extraordinary commitment of local healthcare workers who, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, chose to stay and serve our underserved community rather than pursue their own educational or career advancement. These individuals put the needs of others before their own, often at great personal sacrifice. This fund is a way to give back — to help them now invest in themselves, just as they invested in all of us when we needed them most.
