Our story
Dr. Sami Shafiq (Sami) earned her Doctorate Degree as a Clinical Pharmacist. Sami impacted PharmD candidates as a mentor. She served as an adjunct faculty, an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice and Physician Assistant Programs. Sami’s passion for teaching was reflected by her providing continuing education to multiple healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians, and social workers. Her life was cut short by a drunk driver.
