Our goal

The Doing Hard Things My Way: Adaptive Athlete Scholarship was created to recognize and support adaptive and disabled athletes who embody resilience, determination, and the spirit of perseverance. Founded by athlete and advocate Chad Williams, this scholarship is awarded to one student-athlete who has faced challenges with courage and continues to push forward, doing hard things their way. This scholarship is designed to help an adaptive or disabled athlete transition into college while continuing to pursue their passion for sports, fitness, or personal growth. Whether it’s covering training expenses, adaptive equipment, or school-related costs, this award celebrates athletes who overcome barriers and inspire others through their journey.
